OKTOKKI (2024) - LED Billboard Media Art

Made for Seoul Media Arts Week (SMAW) hosted by Joongang media and World Trade Center Seoul. OKTOKKI is an original 3D VFX animation that was screened at the annual Seoul Media Arts Week Festival in December 2024. OKTOKKI tells the story of a whimsical rabbit who has spent his life on the moon and decides to explore Seoul for the first time. The character’s journey mirrors my own as a Korean-American rediscovering the beauty of my hometown, Seoul—its vibrancy, subtle wonders, and cultural depth. OKTOKKI was displayed across 57+ Commercial screens simultaneously, including the L-shaped Artium Screen in Coex Gangnam.

*Special thanks to Professor Carrie Chen, whose class I took in my first semester at USC (3D modeling platform course), for her guidance and advice during the initial stages of this project.
