dear diary is an autobiographical text-based portrait in the form of a web-based nonlinear narrative of growth. The website is created and written by Leticia Gomes Carvalho, containing texts from her journal from 12 to 22 years old. The explores journaling in modern times, and also explores self-improvement through the nostalgic eyes of memory. The combination of text and design creates a vulnerable space for reflection, designed to encourage others to think about themselves and engage in self-documentation. Above all, it is a liberation of feelings that have long been held and lost in Leticia’s digital archive.
