Welcome to MA+P!
The Division of Media Arts + Practice (MA+P), located within the USC School of Cinematic Arts, offers students a unique opportunity to combine theory and practice while exploring a broad range of media tools and technologies. At the undergraduate level, Media Arts + Practice offers five programs:
- Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts + Practice
- Minor in Digital Studies
- Minor in Media and Social change
- Minor in Future Cinema
- Honors in Multimedia Scholarship program
At the graduate level, Media Arts + Practice offers two programs: the PhD in Media Arts + Practice and the Graduate Certificate in Digital Media and Culture.

The Division of Media Arts + Practice is housed in the SCI Building at the corner of McClintock Avenue and 34th Street. Our offices are on the first floor in Suite 101, just through the double doors facing 34th Street.

MyUSC is the university's portal, designed to give students, faculty and staff personalized access to wide-ranging campus resources in a single location. Students can use MyUSC to access their USC email, Blackboard, student advisement, financial aid, academic records and registration.
SCA Community is your student portal for all Cinematic Arts-related activities. Students can use SCA Community to receive updates on SCA-related events, request D-clearance for classes, obtain permission to check out SCA equipment, book rooms within the SCA complex, etc.
The SCA Knowledgebase contains several resources for SCA students including how-to's, instructional videos, technical support information, Sound Department resources and hours for the SCA Post Production Facilities.
